E³Car aims to provide dedicated solutions for the strongly focused research activities in the wide area of an overall electrical car. The clear application oriented research focus promises large-scale industrial opportunities for the developed technology, namely in Europe and USA. Through its scalability and adaptability, E³Car aims at providing a generic technology platform for electrical vehicles. The assessment of the developed technology based on a demonstrator set with rather hard requirements of a 35% energy saving is extremely challenging, but at the same time a good proof that the developments of E³Car are practically applicable and the visions reachable.
